Drop+Roll Theatre was origionally formed in 2015 by graduating students of the Arts University Bournemouth. Drop+Roll was created out of a love for theatre, both re-imagining the classics and devising new material.
Drop+Roll Theatre creates work that is both exciting for its audience and relevant in its message. We believe that as theatre professionals our job is not only to entertain but to question, explore and present current issues. Working with new and raw talent,whether that be writers, actors or artists, drives us to create innovative and challenging theatre.

Matt enjoys wine and theatre and combines his two favourite things often by getting trashed in the dress circle. He used to be a vegetarian and now he’s not because he says “I got bored”. Matt’s favourite thing to do in the rehearsal room is get a big group of people together and make them writhe on the floor for his own sick aesthetic driven pleasure
Florence was born as Head Chorus girl at the Snootiest School in the land, but was expelled when the Pope visited and deemed her singing too good and therefore the work of the Devil. Florence enjoys long walks on the beach, tall handsome beasts and has a severe allergy to negative people. She states “ I just can’t deal with that in my life”.
Some say Alex was created out a large rock somewhere in Spain, and that is why to this day he carries a bag of gravel with him where ever he goes. A man of infinite intellect, he once created a computer so powerful it melted the face off a hamster. Sadly he had to destroy it lest it fall into the wrong hands. The hamsters name was coincidentally “Rock”.
